Install and Upgrade Google Apps For Crowd Crowd
Installation
- Download the add-on file from Atlassian Market. (click Download from the right menu bar)
- Shut down your Crowd instance.
- Go to
CROWD/crowd-webapp/WEB-INF/lib
directory, remove previous versions of the plugin (if any), and copy the downloaded JAR there. - Start Crowd.
- Google Apps for Crowd add-on should be now correctly installed and you can configure it.
- (optional) To get information about plugin updates, click Watch add-on;
Upgrading
Upgrading to newest version
Replace the old JAR with the new one and restart the server;
Check details instruction for update for specific versions.
Upgrading from version 1.1.x to 1.2.x
- There are no extra steps required to update plugin.
Upgrading from version 1.0.x to 1.1.x or 1.2.x
If you're upgrading from version 1.0.x, you need to do those extra steps:
- Replace the old JAR with the new one and restart the server.
- Configure your Google Apps domain (it's different than in the previous versions and has to be done again).
- Enter the JSON key generated above, and check whether the directory works.
(optional) Remove the deprecated google.apps.admin.password
, google.api.key values if any of them exists.
License renewal
- Fill order form for license renewal.
- When your receive new license, update property plugin.license with new license.
