User Guide - Google Drive Exporter

Google Drive Exporter allows you to export issues directly to Google Drive as Google Sheets or Google Docs documents. After installation on the issue search screen - menu Export - you will find additional options for export issues.

Functionality:

Bulk issues export to Google Sheets and Google Docs

Google Docs Export is available in 1.2.0 plugin version and later.

From the Export menu you can select the following options (see figure below):

  • Docs (All fields)
  • Docs (Current fields)
  • Sheets (All fields)
  • Sheets (Current fields)


Docs (All fields) allows you to generate Google Docs containing a list of all the issues and all their fields (with custom fields).

Docs (Current fields) allows you to generate Google Docs containing a list of all the issues and the current fields from the screen.

Sheets (All fields) allows you to generate Google Sheets containing a list of all the issues and all their fields (with custom fields).

Sheets (Current fields) allows you to generate Google Sheets containing a list of all the issues and the current fields from the screen.


Single issue export to Google Sheets and Google Docs

Google Docs Export is available in 1.2.0 plugin version and later.

You can generate a Google Docs or Google Sheets for a single issue. In this case, you have to open the issue that you want to export and then choose one of the options from menu Export:

  • Sheets
  • Docs

Sheets allows you to generate Google Sheets containing current issue.

Docs allows you to generate Google Docs containing current issue.

Notice. All documents are generated on Google Drive. You can share documents with people and choose whether they can edit or view.
